Macsa celebrates her students

Mass communication students association(macsa) celebrated her students for the first time in a 3-day system.

       They began with workshop on the 9th of June by speaking to the students about intensive and educational practical programs to focus on skill development. They also had debate on the topic ''The new media has taken over the old media''. The debaters were Ibukunoluwa George and Temiloluwa Oluleye from 100 level, Adetola Ogundara and Esther Emeka from 200l. The two levels took their stands just to take the head and convince the judges they agree and disagree with the topic. With all things said and done the debaters from 100l, Ibukunoluwa George and Temiloluwa Oluleye were the winners of the competition and the 200l students as the 1st runner up .

      The students had a glimpse of what they can specialize in by having a chat with the 400l students.

They wrapped up their week with cultural day and recreation. A day when they a ll dressed in their cultural attires to promote and participate in intellectual activities as well as lunch and awards. Students were awarded and certified on that day.

Bukola got an award as the first president of macsa, and all the committee members - pro, secretary, treasurer etc - The student representatives got certificates too.

Their week was indeed on of a kind in as the students were all smiling with a reddish puffed cheeks.
